Project context
A maritime training centre needed to increase bridge resource management capacity while keeping instructor workload manageable. The goal was to support watchkeeping, route planning, collision avoidance and emergency communication in one repeatable environment.
ERUN project teams from Wuhan Erun Technology Co., Ltd. treat implementation as a complete readiness system: site planning, simulator configuration, scenario design, training records and lifecycle support must work together.

ERUN configuration
- Instructor station with scenario control, traffic injection and weather changes
- Multiple trainee bridge stations for team rotation and assessment
- Visual scene database prepared for coastal navigation, port approach and restricted-water exercises
- Replay and debriefing workflow for evidence-based instructor feedback
The centre wanted more than equipment. It needed a teaching workflow that could turn each exercise into measurable competence.
Training outcomes
The lab created a structured path from pre-briefing to live exercise and post-exercise replay. Instructors could reuse scenarios, compare trainee decisions and focus feedback on communication, situational awareness and safe navigation behaviour.
